I have a LG plasma tv, with sky HD and a PS3 and a LG DVD/Surround sound. Im not sure if it's all connected up properly, because when ive checked other forums they seem to have leads going everywhere.

My current setup is:- sky-tv via hdmi, ps3 - tv via hdmi, surround sound - tv via optical. It all works fine, but not sure if it proper surround sound ie 5.1. The dvd player says AUX OPT for it all to work. is this ok? other options are tv-audio, portable, dvd/cd, aux.

My Connections are

TV- 2x hdmi, audio in, optical out, rgb dvi, video (PR, RB, Y), RGB in, RS232C in, red yellow white, usb, scart

SKY- hdmi,, usb, optical out, red yellow white. scart

DVD/ Surround sound - optical in, hdmi out, usb, aux L-R, video out, output PR RB Y, scart

PS3 - hdmi, optical

what is the best set up? i have a spare hdmi (so 3) will i need a splitter/switch?
