MonkeyMaximus heeft een online tool ontwikkeld waarmee je zonder PSN .pgk bestanden rechtstreeks kan downloaden en installeren op je PS3.
Met PS3 PKG / PSN Downloader kun je door een FTP server op je PS3 te installeren, bijvoorbeeld blackb0x, na het invullen van de FTP gegevens .pkg bestanden door sturen naar de harde schijf van je PS3 zonder bijkomst van PSN.
De tool werkt op Windows, Linux en OSX.

Notes:
* Things to fix/add include: Threading, Multiple Downloads, Make it not ugly, Better categories on PSN link repos, A few more surprise… In all honesty there is a TON to do… just gotta find the time.
* I still don’t have a device I can use to jailbreak my PS3. So I have not got to test everything myself. As you find bugs please post them on the forum. I will get to fixing things ASAP.
